Veritas Steel has three spacious fabrication facilities strategically located near transportation thoroughfares. Our three facilities produce an estimated combined total of 60,000 tons of structural steel each year.
Eau Claire, WI
Spanning over 60 acres, our Eau Claire, WI, facility is the original home of Veritas Steel. With more than 250,000 square feet, this facility specializes in fabricating structural steel for complex bridge girders and plate girders.
To simultaneously produce many large projects, we use separate buildings for steel fabrication, preassembly and indoor storage. We also utilize an advanced paint facility for coating steel members. Accessibility by road and rail enables steel transport to and from the plant.
Wausau, WI
Located 90 miles east of Eau Claire, our Wausau, WI, facility spans 32 acres and includes 150,000 square feet of fabrication space. This facility is conveniently located adjacent to a major road as well as rail spurs, making transport easier and less expensive. Our Wausau facility has capacity for any kind of steel fabrication but specializes in steel plate girders.
The facility offers approximately 700 feet of shop assembly space, which is used for preassembly to ensure perfect fit-up in the field. This location also offers a spacious outdoor staging area for weathering steel and storage.
Palatka, FL
Located adjacent to the St. Johns River, our 120-acre Palatka, FL, facility has direct water access for shipping and receiving materials. Access to the Intracoastal Waterway means projects can quickly be shipped up and down the East Coast.
This facility offers over 200,000 square feet of building space, making it an ideal fabrication site for complex bridge structures and plate girder projects. With an advanced paint facility and separate buildings for fabrication and assembly, this plant serves the southeastern U.S.
